We are delighted to announce that Helen Provart, our Managing Director, has been asked to join the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) council to provide a supporting role for small member businesses.
The ATC is a professional membership organisation representing language companies within the UK and internationally. The ATC is the leading voice for companies operating in the UK’s language services industry and membership of the ATC is recognised as the mark of quality-managed language services. Amongst its many activities, the ATC provides authoritative advice on matters relating to multilingual communication, as well as defining standards of excellence for language service companies.
“It is an honour to be selected to support the small business initiative,” commented Helen. “I believe the ATC can provide valuable support for its SME members and I’m really looking forward to getting involved in putting together a support programme.”
Helen joins existing and newly-appointed Council members in a co-opted role with a specific focus on developing and supporting the small business programme.
“Having experienced the value of peer support through other initiatives and groups, I am a huge supporter of sharing knowledge and expertise particularly in the SME space and feel that collaboration will enable our small business members to prosper and thrive.”
