Charlie began life at Peak as an apprentice in 2019 to enhance his skills and experience in the translation industry and is now one of Peak Translations’ valued Project Managers. Charlie has a great passion for the German language and has amassed a vast knowledge and understanding of it, including the quirky Bavarian dialect! Highly devoted to sustainability; conserving the world we live in, and utilising what the planet provides us with, he has taken on the role of Sustainability Officer at Peak, coming up with ways and ideas on how to make our daily work and office life kinder to the planet.
“One of my main hobbies outside of work is learning Icelandic. I have been doing so for a couple of years now, often in tandem with exploring the country itself. Craft beer, speciality coffee, hiking, volcanology, as well as keeping up my German skills are also great interests of mine. Seeing how our work helps businesses and brands come alive in foreign markets and working with young individuals to keep the language industry alive for generations to come really are things that get me up in the morning.”
